Rubber Magazine Issue

Rubber Magazine Issue 1

Strangely fluid in a disjointed kind of way. Gomma Issue 1 is a collection of images bound together not only by the magazine format but also in the sense of truth and reality. Fourteen international photographers have been selected for the first issue which consists in 184 colour pages and has a section dedicated purely to Black and White photography.

There is no text, only photographs, showcased to create an enthralling visual journey through unstaged moments of truth. The contents are varied – Americana, poverty, on the road, interiors, people on the edge, humour, transvestites, Asia, slums, war, fetish, rockabilly… but they all have the lively and vivid nature that make up the personality of Gomma Magazine: raw, fresh, independent.
Gomma is an enthralling visual journey to chew with your eyes.
